Gary visited the Medal of Honor Museum and headquarters of the Congressional Medal of Society aboard the historic carrier USS Yorktown in Mount Pleasant, SC. He holds a poster featuring Medal of Honor recipient then-Maj. Bruce Crandall, A Company, 1, 229th Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile), who received the Medal for action at the Battle of Ia Drang, Vietnam. Gary later met Crandall.
Patrick DeLacy’s name along with all other Medal of Honor Recipients is on the USS Yorktown.

Reunion: Gary and Marsha Roche reunite with members of the Van Cleef family of Belle Mead, NJ, and other family friends, at Gettysburg. The Roche and Van Cleef children grew up together.
